Qualifications & Experience

  • Active and current license as a School Psychologist (no counselors or alternative licenses accepted)
  • Educator Credential required to practice school psychology in California
  • Prior experience in a K–12 setting highly valued
  • Commitment to full-time, on-site availability throughout the school year
  • Strong assessment, consultation, and communication skills
  • Collaborative approach to team-based service delivery

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students referred for special education or related concerns
  • Provide consultation and support to teachers, staff, and parental communities to address students’ academic, emotional, behavioral, and social needs
  • Develop and help implement behavioral interventions and individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to promote positive student outcomes
  • Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards in all student interactions and documentation
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and departmental meetings
