Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist credential required
- Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Experience conducting assessments, writing reports, and participating in IEP meetings
- Strong knowledge of MTSS/RTI frameworks and implementation
- Exceptional communication, consultation, and collaboration skills
- Proven ability to develop and provide behavioral interventions and counseling
- Flexibility to adapt to both in-person and virtual service delivery as needed
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to determine eligibility for special education services
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, parents, and administrators, to create supportive educational plans
- Lead and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, contributing assessment results and recommendations
- Offer short-term counseling and crisis intervention to support student mental health and behavior management
- Design and implement interventions targeting academic, behavioral, and emotional growth
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions in consultation with staff and families
- Advocate for student needs, fostering an inclusive and supportive school environment
