Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Current certification and licensure as a School Psychologist (required)
- Strong understanding of child and adolescent development
- Experience with psychoeducational assessments and report writing
- Knowledge of IEP process, special education laws, and guidelines
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to provide counseling and develop interventions for a diverse student population
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify students’ academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Develop and support implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to create positive learning environments
- Provide direct counseling and consultative services to students in need
- Support crisis intervention, behavioral plans, and data-driven strategies
- Lead and participate in Student Study Teams and Response to Intervention meetings
