Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility as a school psychologist
- Strong understanding of assessment, intervention, and counseling strategies for diverse student populations
- Experience conducting evaluations, interpreting data, and developing IEPs
- Excellent communication skills and an ability to work well within multidisciplinary teams
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but open to recent graduates with relevant practicum and internship experience
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to identify student strengths and needs
- Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and administrators to design effective accommodations and support plans
- Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility determinations, and team consultations
- Support crisis intervention, behavioral consultation, and preventative mental health initiatives
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with district and legal guidelines
