Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure or eligibility as a school psychologist
  • Strong understanding of assessment, intervention, and counseling strategies for diverse student populations
  • Experience conducting evaluations, interpreting data, and developing IEPs
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to work well within multidisciplinary teams
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but open to recent graduates with relevant practicum and internship experience

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to identify student strengths and needs
  • Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and administrators to design effective accommodations and support plans
  • Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility determinations, and team consultations
  • Support crisis intervention, behavioral consultation, and preventative mental health initiatives
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with district and legal guidelines
