School Psychologist | Sanostee, New Mexico

This contract opportunity for a dedicated School Psychologist or Diagnostician spans district-wide, working closely with a diverse student population and multidisciplinary teams. The assignment runs from now through May 2027, offering the chance to build meaningful, long-term relationships with students and staff.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree or Doctorate in School Psychology or closely related field
• Current New Mexico PED School Psychologist License
• Previous evaluation and assessment experience (30-40 evaluations per school year is typical)
• Ability and willingness to travel between school sites within the district
• Collaborative spirit and strong communication skills

Position Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychoeducational assessments to develop detailed evaluations of student learning and behavioral strengths and challenges
• Collaborate with educators, families, and administrative teams to develop and support effective academic and behavioral interventions
• Provide consultation and recommendations to support student IEP goals and 504 plans
• Contribute to multi-disciplinary problem solving to foster educational access and achievement
• Maintain thorough documentation and timely reporting as required by district policies

This full-time, onsite opportunity offers 37.5 hours per week and promises a varied, dynamic routine as you work across multiple schools.
