This contract position focuses on providing vital psychological services to students in grades K-5 within a supportive and collaborative district near Santa Ana, CA. This is a full-time role (35-40 hours per week) spanning the entire 2023-2024 school year and offers the chance to work alongside educators and families, helping children reach their fullest potential.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active California School Psychologist certification
  • Master’s degree in School Psychology
  • Valid Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential
  • Confident working on-site in an itinerant capacity
  • New graduate and out-of-state applicants welcome

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct support to elementary-aged students in a school setting
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations, such as WISC, WJ, and RIOS tests
  • Monitor student progress, participate in observations, and document findings
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to enhance student success
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs and behavior intervention plans
  • Promote positive student behavior and bolster social-emotional growth
  • Support the educational team with insightful recommendations
