This full-time contract opportunity is for a dedicated School Psychologist with a passion for elementary-aged learners. Serving as an itinerant specialist, you’ll collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to promote academic, emotional, and behavioral success across schools in the Santa Ana region for the 2023-2024 academic year.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid California School Psychologist Certification (PPS credential required)
- Master’s degree in School Psychology
- Open to both experienced professionals and recent graduates
- Willingness and ability to work on-site within multiple elementary campuses
- Skilled in conducting assessments such as WISC, WJ, RIOS, and similar tools
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver psychological services for students in kindergarten through fifth grade
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to support IEP development and student support plans
- Monitor and document student progress and behavior, providing data-informed feedback to teams
- Observe and analyze classroom behaviors, offering consultative support for effective interventions
- Collaborate closely with families, teachers, and administrators to foster a supportive school environment
- Implement and guide individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior plans
