Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
- Proven ability to conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations
- Strong understanding of federal and state special education regulations
- Excellent communication and consultation skills with students, staff, and families
- Experience developing and implementing effective intervention strategies
- Comfortable working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Administer psychological assessments to evaluate students’ cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional functioning
- Interpret assessment results and prepare clear, actionable reports
- Consult with teachers, counselors, and parents to develop and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral interventions
- Facilitate or participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise on student needs and appropriate supports
- Deliver direct counseling and support services to students as needed
- Assist with crisis intervention and response when required
- Support data-driven decision-making to address student barriers to success
