Key Qualifications:

  • Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
  • Proven ability to conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations
  • Strong understanding of federal and state special education regulations
  • Excellent communication and consultation skills with students, staff, and families
  • Experience developing and implementing effective intervention strategies
  • Comfortable working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Administer psychological assessments to evaluate students’ cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional functioning
  • Interpret assessment results and prepare clear, actionable reports
  • Consult with teachers, counselors, and parents to develop and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral interventions
  • Facilitate or participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise on student needs and appropriate supports
  • Deliver direct counseling and support services to students as needed
  • Assist with crisis intervention and response when required
  • Support data-driven decision-making to address student barriers to success
