Essential Qualifications:
• Valid license as a school psychologist
• Experience working with students in grades K-12 (elementary, middle, and high school)
• Skilled in assessment, intervention, and the development of individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Effective communication abilities for collaboration with teachers, parents, and multi-disciplinary teams
• Knowledge of current educational, behavioral, and mental health best practices
• Commitment to ethics, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity within school settings
• Strong organizational skills to manage caseloads and document interventions
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for students, including academic, developmental, and behavioral assessments
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student achievement and well-being
• Develop, monitor, and review IEPs in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Provide direct and consultative support for crisis intervention, behavioral plans, and counseling as needed
• Contribute to Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) processes
• Maintain up-to-date records and documentation in accordance with district policies
• Support a safe, positive, and inclusive school climate through prevention strategies and staff training
