Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Current and valid state licensure or eligibility in School Psychology
- Previous experience in a school-based role preferred
- Strong assessment, intervention, and counseling skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, educators, and multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of IEP process, special education laws, and evidence-based practices
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and interpret results to support individualized student planning
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and monitor educational interventions
- Lead and participate in eligibility determination meetings, IEP development, and progress review conferences
- Provide direct counseling services to students, supporting emotional and behavioral regulation
- Design and implement crisis intervention strategies as needed
- Support positive school climate by engaging in preventative and consultative activities
- Maintain and document accurate records in accordance with school, district, and state policies
