A position is available for a School Psychologist to provide essential psychological services within a school setting located in Schenectady, NY. This role involves travel between school sites to deliver comprehensive assessments, interventions, and support to students, families, and school staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to support student learning and behavioral needs.
- Develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families.
- Provide counseling and intervention services to students.
- Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to address student challenges and promote mental health.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Valid New York State certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
