Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Arizona School Psychologist certification or eligibility
- Recent experience in K-12 settings preferred
- Proficient in conducting psychoeducational assessments and writing comprehensive reports
- Strong collaboration, communication, and consultation skills with teachers, administrators, and families
- In-depth understanding of special education laws and processes
- Ability to develop and implement effective student interventions
Responsibilities:
- Perform evaluations and assessments to identify students’ learning, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Offer direct and indirect support for students through individual and group interventions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Consult with educators, parents, and support staff to provide recommendations and strategies that foster student success
- Deliver crisis intervention, counseling, and risk assessment as needed
- Contribute expertise during student study team and eligibility meetings
- Support a positive and inclusive school environment through prevention and intervention programs
