Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field (required)
- Valid and current license/certification as a School Psychologist in Arizona, or eligibility to obtain
- Experience conducting cognitive, behavioral, and academic assessments
- Proficient in developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for consultation and collaboration with teachers, administrators, and families
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to the needs of a diverse school population
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological evaluations, assessments, and interventions for students
- Consult with teachers and parents to support students’ educational and mental health needs
- Contribute to multidisciplinary teams to develop, monitor, and review IEPs
- Deliver crisis intervention and counseling services as needed
- Promote positive behavior strategies and support the school’s academic and social goals
- Maintain accurate, confidential documentation and contribute to school-wide initiatives
