Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Arizona School Psychologist certification or eligibility
  • Recent experience in K-12 settings preferred
  • Proficient in conducting psychoeducational assessments and writing comprehensive reports
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and consultation skills with teachers, administrators, and families
  • In-depth understanding of special education laws and processes
  • Ability to develop and implement effective student interventions

Responsibilities:

  • Perform evaluations and assessments to identify students’ learning, behavioral, and emotional needs
  • Offer direct and indirect support for students through individual and group interventions
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Consult with educators, parents, and support staff to provide recommendations and strategies that foster student success
  • Deliver crisis intervention, counseling, and risk assessment as needed
  • Contribute expertise during student study team and eligibility meetings
  • Support a positive and inclusive school environment through prevention and intervention programs
