Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Active School Psychologist certification in Arizona (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting data
- Familiarity with IEP development and the special education process
- Strong communication, consultation, and crisis intervention skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- Compassionate, adaptable, and committed to fostering students’ academic and social-emotional growth
Primary Responsibilities:
- Complete psychoeducational evaluations and assist in identifying students’ strengths and needs
- Participate in the development and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide individual and group counseling, as well as crisis intervention support
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to recommend evidence-based strategies and resources
- Support positive behavioral interventions and mental health initiatives within the school
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation in accordance with state and district guidelines
