Key Qualifications:

• Valid School Psychologist certification in the state of Arizona (or eligibility for certification)
• Experience conducting student assessments, including cognitive, academic, and behavioral evaluations
• Proficiency in developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Strong communication and consultative abilities for working with teachers, administrators, and families
• Understanding of Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) processes
• Knowledge of current best practices in social-emotional learning and behavioral management
• Previous school-based experience is highly preferred

Essential Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations for referred students
• Interpret assessment results to support student learning and growth
• Develop recommendations for interventions, accommodations, and supports within the classroom
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary team meetings to contribute to eligibility and placement decisions
• Support crisis intervention efforts and contribute to prevention programming
• Consult with educators and caregivers, providing resources and strategies for student success
• Assist in creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive school climate
