The work schedule runs from 7:30am to 2:40pm, providing a consistent routine while preserving flexibility in your professional life. All caseload responsibilities center on elementary-aged students, allowing you to focus your expertise where it is needed most.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with elementary (PreK-8th grade) student populations
- Proficiency in conducting and interpreting psychological and educational assessments
- Strong understanding of developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Familiarity with multidisciplinary team collaboration in school settings
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to supporting diverse learners in an inclusive educational environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and educational evaluations for referred students using established assessment tools
- Interpret data to support development and implementation of IEPs
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to manage referrals, evaluations, and program placements for students eligible for special education services
- Engage in ongoing consultation with teachers, administrators, and families to foster student success
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation for all assessments and meetings
