Make a difference supporting students’ success as a dedicated School Psychologist in a thriving educational environment near Scottsdale, AZ. This full-time, on-site contract position offers the opportunity to work closely with students, staff, and families to promote well-being and academic growth throughout the school year.
As part of the multidisciplinary team, you’ll provide essential services five days a week for a total of 37.5 hours. This position is ideal for professionals who are passionate about hands-on collaboration and enjoy working within school settings—remote or hybrid formats are not available for this role.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Eligible for or currently holding an Arizona School Psychologist license (candidates with a pending license are also welcome!)
- Current IVP fingerprint card or the ability to obtain one prior to your start date
- Previous experience in school settings is highly valued
- Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to inclusivity, communication, and teamwork
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and provide tailored interventions
- Collaborate with educators, counselors, and parents to develop and support effective student plans
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, contributing expert knowledge and recommendations
- Counsel students individually or in groups to address academic, social, and emotional needs
- Serve as a vital resource, facilitating crisis intervention and promoting positive school climate
