Essential Qualifications:
- Current Arizona School Psychologist Certification
- Active Arizona Fingerprint Card
- Professional experience or familiarity working with PreK-8th grade students
- Strong skills in student assessments and teamwork
- Ability to work independently and handle a diverse range of needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting student evaluations and providing thorough assessments
- Participating actively in IEP meetings to support individualized student goals
- Overseeing out-of-district placements to ensure continuity of services
- Assisting, as needed, with Manifestation Determination Reviews (MDRs)
- Supporting the Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) process for academic and behavioral needs
- Collaborating with educators, administrators, and parents to develop and implement student support plans
