Step into a dynamic educational setting where your expertise as a school psychologist will make a significant impact. This contract opportunity offers you the chance to support K-8 students in a diverse, welcoming environment near Scottsdale, AZ. With a manageable caseload of approximately 43 students, your focus will span general education students receiving speech services and two self-contained foundational skills classrooms serving students with intellectual disabilities.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology (required)
  • Current and valid certification/licensure to practice as a School Psychologist in Arizona
  • Previous experience working with elementary and middle school students (K-8)
  • Proficiency conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and delivering consultative services
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities, particularly within multidisciplinary teams
  • Compassion and experience working with both general education students and those with intellectual disabilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and provide recommendations as part of the special education eligibility process
  • Deliver direct and consultative services to general education students receiving speech therapy, as well as students in two foundational skills classrooms
  • Develop, review, and help implement IEPs
  • Facilitate behavioral interventions and support positive student outcomes
  • Participate actively in team meetings, providing expertise in assessment results and progress monitoring
  • Collaborate with faculty, families, and related service providers to promote students’ academic and social-emotional growth
