This full-time, onsite contract opportunity is located near Seaford, DE and offers the chance to collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families while supporting young learners during their crucial developmental years.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate expertise in early childhood assessment and interventions, along with a passion for empowering both students and staff. Your role will be vital to fostering a positive and supportive educational experience for PreK students.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification and state licensure
  • Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or related field
  • Previous experience with PreK or early childhood caseloads preferred
  • Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs
  • Strong skills in assessment, consultation, and behavioral intervention
  • Ability to build rapport with young children, educators, and parents
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Commitment to ethical practice and student confidentiality

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological and educational assessments for PreK students
  • Collaborate with teachers and families to address academic, behavioral, and social-emotional concerns
  • Develop, monitor, and support IEPs and intervention plans
  • Provide direct support and counseling to students as needed
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and team-based interventions
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with school policies
