Key Qualifications:
- Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in the relevant state
- Experience working with PreK populations strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of child development and early childhood education
- Proficiency with assessments, intervention planning, and progress monitoring
- Excellent communication and consultative skills with students, teachers, and families
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and sensitivity
Primary Responsibilities:
- Administer psychological assessments and interpret results to support Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop targeted interventions
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review student progress and adjust service plans
- Deliver counseling and behavioral support sessions to PreK students as needed
- Advise teachers on classroom strategies to enhance student success and well-being
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and district policies
