Key Qualifications:
- State certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
- Experience working in K-12 educational environments
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and counseling
- Ability to provide consultation to teachers and parents
- Knowledge of IEPs, RTI/MTSS, and special education processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Adaptable, collaborative, and committed to equity and student success
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results
- Participate in Student Study Teams, IEP meetings, and behavior planning
- Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention for students
- Support development and implementation of individualized interventions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote a positive learning environment
- Offer consultation and training to staff on a range of learning and behavioral needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with policies and regulations
