Qualifications:
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Current and valid School Psychologist certification/license for Washington State (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience conducting psychological and educational evaluations, preferably in elementary settings
- Familiarity with a variety of assessment tools and intervention strategies
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Administer standardized and informal assessments to evaluate students’ learning, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Develop, interpret, and present evaluation results for staff and families
- Collaborate with teachers, school teams, and parents to support student learning and well-being
- Provide consultation on interventions, educational planning, and progress monitoring
- Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to district guidelines
