Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification/license for Washington State (or eligibility to obtain)
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and creating data-driven educational plans
- Strong communication skills for working with staff, students, and families
- Familiarity with IEP process, behavior intervention, and consultation services
- Ability to travel between school sites if needed
- Knowledge of current best practices in school psychology
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations for students
- Develop individualized recommendations and intervention strategies
- Collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams on IEPs and 504 Plans
- Provide crisis intervention, direct student support, and counseling
- Consult with educators, families, and administrators to promote student success
- Keep thorough records and stay up to date with compliance and documentation requirements
