Essential Qualifications:
- Active School Psychologist certification/license in the state of Washington (or ability to obtain)
- Master’s or Doctorate in School Psychology or a related field
- Previous experience as a School Psychologist within a K-12 school environment preferred
- Strong understanding of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), response to intervention (RTI), and positive behavioral interventions
- Proficiency in conducting psychoeducational assessments, writing reports, and participating in eligibility meetings
- Excellent communication, consultation, and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments of students referred for evaluation
- Interpret assessment results and generate clear, actionable recommendations
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, parents, and administrators to support student success
- Provide counseling and intervention services to students individually or in group settings
- Contribute expertise to IEP meetings; support the development and implementation of behavior intervention plans
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource on mental health, academic, and behavioral issues affecting students
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay informed of best practices in the field
