School Psychologist in Semmes, AL

Step into a dynamic role supporting students across K-12 grades in a meaningful, contract-based capacity. As a school psychologist or psychometrist, you will play an essential part in fostering student growth and well-being in a supportive educational environment. Enjoy a varied day-to-day experience—your assignment may be itinerant, serving multiple schools or focusing on specific campuses, including a unique opportunity in a private school setting with a flexible school list. This is an on-site ONLY position, and all interviews will be conducted in person on April 27, 2026. Strong performance could pave the way for extensions into extended school year (ESY) and the next school year.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active school psychology license for Alabama required
• Experience working with K-12 student populations
• Ability to travel between school sites (if required)
• Willingness to present licensed credentials at the time of the interview
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Flexibility for itinerant assignments

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interventions for students
• Consult and collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Develop and support implementation of individualized education and intervention plans
• Maintain accurate and confidential student records and reports
• Deliver services in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines
• Adapt to schedules and caseloads that may evolve to meet school needs
