School Psychologist - Semmes, AL

This full-time, on-site position runs from October 1, 2026, through May 26, 2027, with the possibility for renewal into the extended school year and the next school year based on performance. Qualifications:

• Must hold an active Alabama school psychologist license (please provide proof with application)
• Previous experience conducting assessments, developing intervention plans, and supporting student mental health in a K-12 educational environment strongly preferred
• Excellent communication, consultation, and collaboration abilities with students, families, teachers, and administrators
• Willingness to travel between schools if required for testing and consultation
• Strong organization and adaptability to meet diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform psychological and psychoeducational assessments for students in grades K-12
• Interpret assessment results to inform eligibility, intervention, and program planning
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and monitor individualized education and support plans
• Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and behavioral consultation as appropriate
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and adherence to ethical, legal, and district standards
• Support staff and families with resources, recommendations, and advocacy for student mental health
