Step into a pivotal role supporting K–12 students in the Mobile, AL area as a School Psychometrist through a rewarding full-time contract opportunity. This assignment spans from October 1, 2026, through May 26, 2027, with a strong potential for extension based on performance for both extended school year and next school year placements. In this dynamic, on-site role, you’ll collaborate with educational professionals to assess and support the diverse learning needs across multiple school settings.

What you’ll bring:

• Master’s degree in School Psychometry or a closely related field
• Valid and current professional licensure as a School Psychometrist
• Previous experience working in K–12 school environments (preferred)
• Ability to provide clear copies of all required professional licenses at the time of application
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Flexibility to work itinerantly, adapting to multiple school sites as testing needs evolve
• Commitment to full-time, on-site work (remote/virtual not available for this position)

What you’ll do:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students in grades K–12
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to interpret assessment results and contribute to special education eligibility decisions
• Prepare detailed written reports summarizing findings and recommendations
• Support schools with timely testing based on student and district needs
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
• Engage in ongoing communication with educators, administrators, and families
