Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive initial and reevaluations, including psychoeducational, social-emotional, adaptive behavior, executive functioning, attention, and autism-related assessments.
- Analyze existing educational data, academic records, teacher feedback, and parent input to determine assessment requirements.
- Select assessment tools thoughtfully and document your rationale for each measure used.
- Complete evaluations within 30 days of obtaining parental consent.
- Prepare and submit detailed reports within 7 days of assessment completion.
- Present findings and recommendations at eligibility meetings, virtually or in-person as appropriate.
- Coordinate testing logistics proactively with special education and school staff.
- Supply and maintain assessment materials needed for each assigned evaluation.
- Adhere to all confidentiality and district visitor procedures.
- Confirm written parental consent is obtained before testing.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active South Carolina Department of Education School Psychologist Certification (Level I, II, or III).
- Master’s, Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Previous experience in school-based evaluations (preferred).
- Strong organizational, communication, and report writing abilities.
- Proven ability to work autonomously and manage multiple timelines.
