Key Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification (state licensure, or eligibility, as required)
  • Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Experience with psychoeducational assessments, counseling, and intervention plans
  • Knowledge of special education law and Individualized Education Programs (IEP)
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to diverse student populations and school environments
  • Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological and academic evaluations for students as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement IEPs
  • Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and consultative support for students
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and offer expert recommendations
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with district and regulatory guidelines
  • Support teachers with behavioral management strategies and student interventions
  • Advocate for the mental health and academic success of all students
