Key Qualifications:

• Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology or a related field
• Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Experience with assessments, counseling, interventions, and developing IEP/504 plans
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, staff, and families
• Familiarity with current best practices in educational and psychological services
• Adaptability and problem-solving skills to address diverse student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results to inform interventions
• Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to support each student’s educational experience
• Provide direct counseling services and crisis intervention as needed
• Participate in special education eligibility meetings and develop appropriate plans
• Offer consultation and training to staff regarding student behavior, learning issues, and effective strategies
• Maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with all federal and state guidelines
