This contract assignment offers the chance to work onsite, supporting three school buildings and guiding special education evaluations in a collaborative educational environment. You'll find yourself working alongside dedicated staff and families, ensuring that students receive the comprehensive support they need to thrive academically and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct approximately 70 psychoeducational evaluations annually to assess student eligibility for special education services.
  • Work across three school buildings, adapting to unique student populations and building strong relationships with teams at each site.
  • Participate actively in monthly team meetings, contributing to problem-solving, planning, and the continuous improvement of student support services.
  • Maintain meticulous compliance with special education requirements, documenting findings and ensuring timely communication with all stakeholders.
  • Report directly to the district supervisor, collaborating closely to align efforts with district goals and policies.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Hold a valid Indiana School Psychologist license.
  • Demonstrated experience in psychoeducational assessments and eligibility determination processes is strongly preferred.
  • Possess a thorough knowledge of special education laws, rules, and compliance requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Display a commitment to equity, professionalism, and ongoing professional growth.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM – 3:15 PM (onsite, contract position).
