Step into a pivotal role supporting student success as a School Psychologist in a collaborative educational environment. This onsite contract opportunity features a consistent weekday schedule—Monday through Friday, 7:45 AM to 3:15 PM—serving students across three buildings. You'll focus on conducting essential special education evaluations and working closely with both staff and families to tailor support to every learner's needs. Reporting directly to the district supervisor, your expertise will help uphold the highest standards for compliance and care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete approximately 70 psychoeducational evaluations annually for students referred for special education
  • Provide psychological support and consultation services across three school buildings, fostering inclusive learning environments
  • Engage regularly with multidisciplinary teams through monthly meetings to discuss student progress and interventions
  • Ensure all assessments, documentation, and recommendations align with state special education laws and district procedures
  • Maintain clear communication with families and staff to promote student growth and educational equity

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Hold a valid Indiana license as a School Psychologist
  • Demonstrated background in psychoeducational assessment, eligibility determination, and individualized education planning preferred
  • Strong grasp of special education law, compliance requirements, and evidence-based interventions
  • Collaborative approach to problem-solving and a commitment to supporting diverse student needs
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills
