Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification/license (state requirements must be met)
  • Experience or strong interest in early childhood assessment and intervention preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with educators and families
  • Knowledge of relevant special education laws, best practices, and effective behavioral interventions
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload and maintain accurate, confidential records
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and developmental assessments for early childhood students
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Deliver direct support services and consultative guidance to teachers, families, and administrators
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide recommendations for interventions
  • Collaborate in creating safe and supportive school climates, especially for young learners
  • Contribute to data-driven decisions and support school-wide initiatives
