Qualifications & Skills:
- Certified/licensed School Psychologist
- Experience with K-12 student populations, specifically those with significant disabilities
- Proficient in conducting assessments with students using assistive communication devices
- Familiarity with developing and implementing strategies for students with physical and cognitive challenges
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Willingness to travel between schools as required
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and psychological testing for students with intensive support needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to interpret results and contribute to individualized educational planning
- Recommend interventions and supports tailored to each student’s abilities and needs
- Provide consultation and support to teachers, families, and support staff regarding best practices for communication and learning
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in accordance with district and regulatory guidelines
