Qualifications & Skills:

  • Certified/licensed School Psychologist
  • Experience with K-12 student populations, specifically those with significant disabilities
  • Proficient in conducting assessments with students using assistive communication devices
  • Familiarity with developing and implementing strategies for students with physical and cognitive challenges
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Willingness to travel between schools as required

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and psychological testing for students with intensive support needs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to interpret results and contribute to individualized educational planning
  • Recommend interventions and supports tailored to each student’s abilities and needs
  • Provide consultation and support to teachers, families, and support staff regarding best practices for communication and learning
