This position is conveniently located near Shelton, WA, and offers a flexible hybrid schedule: while all assessments require your onsite expertise, you’ll have the option to work remotely on reports and potentially participate in IEP meetings virtually.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid certification/licensure as a school psychologist (or eligibility)
  • Previous experience in K-12 educational settings strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of state and federal special education regulations
  • Excellent assessment, consultation, and report-writing skills
  • Comfort navigating both in-person and virtual professional environments
  • Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations onsite
  • Participate in evaluation meetings, interpreting assessment results for staff and families
  • Develop detailed, accurate reports
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to provide actionable recommendations
  • Support IEP teams, which may include attending meetings virtually
  • Assist in crisis intervention and provide recommendations for behavioral support

This contract offers an hourly range of $50-$65, paired with the flexibility of a hybrid work arrangement. You’ll enjoy the balance of hands-on student connection and the convenience of remote professional tasks.
