Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results
  • Knowledge of intervention strategies, behavior management, and response to intervention frameworks
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with students, educators, and families
  • Familiarity with IEP development and 504 plan processes preferred
  • Professionalism, organizational skills, and adaptability in a school environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and interpret psychological and educational assessments for students
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student learning and mental health needs
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop and review Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation services as needed
  • Develop and implement intervention strategies to address academic and behavioral concerns
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Support a positive, inclusive school climate and promote the well-being of all students
