Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results
- Knowledge of intervention strategies, behavior management, and response to intervention frameworks
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with students, educators, and families
- Familiarity with IEP development and 504 plan processes preferred
- Professionalism, organizational skills, and adaptability in a school environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and interpret psychological and educational assessments for students
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student learning and mental health needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop and review Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation services as needed
- Develop and implement intervention strategies to address academic and behavioral concerns
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Support a positive, inclusive school climate and promote the well-being of all students
