Exciting opportunity for a skilled professional passionate about supporting student success in an educational environment. This contract position centers on providing school psychologist services to a middle school population, collaborating closely with a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to deliver comprehensive care. You’ll co-treat a small caseload, offering both group and individual counseling, and participate actively in the evaluation process and team meetings.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain
  • Experience working with middle school students preferred
  • Strong background in administering educational and psychological assessments
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to facilitate group and individual counseling sessions
  • Proficiency with team-based service delivery models

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations to support IEP and eligibility determinations
  • Co-treat small caseloads alongside an SLP, promoting integrated support for students
  • Lead small group and individual counseling sessions focused on emotional, behavioral, and social development
  • Attend and contribute to team meetings, sharing observations and recommendations
  • Maintain accurate and clear documentation of student progress and interventions
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including teachers, families, and specialists—to develop and monitor student plans
