You will collaborate with dedicated educational diagnosticians, social workers, and related service providers to make a direct impact on student learning and well-being.

What you bring:

• Valid School Psychologist credentials for Virginia
• Experience working in K-12 settings
• Solid knowledge of administering and interpreting cognitive testing, rating scales, and conducting classroom observations
• Ability to manage diverse caseloads, adapt to multiple site assignments, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams
• Skilled at leading teams through eligibility processes and interpreting criteria worksheets
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities

What you’ll do:

• Perform student evaluations, cognitive assessments, and comprehensive observations
• Guide school teams through eligibility determinations, including eligibility and manifestation meetings
• Collaborate with educational diagnosticians (who administer achievement tests), as well as social workers and related providers
• Participate in designated meeting days, including child study, reevaluations, and eligibility/termination meetings
• Match to preferred caseload types when possible, with possible assignments to 2-3 sites based on needs
• Provide expertise in the interpretation of testing and actively contribute to intervention strategies and planning
