This position is based near Smyrna, DE, offering an engaging mix of onsite commitment with the flexibility of two remote workdays each week. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid School Psychologist certification or eligibility in Delaware
- Previous experience in K-12 settings preferred
- Strong skills in psychological assessment, intervention planning, and supporting IEP teams
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school staff
- Ability to maintain clear documentation and confidentiality in all cases
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for academic, behavioral, or emotional concerns
- Interpret assessment data and contribute to the development of effective IEPs
- Provide targeted interventions and counseling services to enhance student well-being and learning outcomes
- Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to design and implement evidence-based supports
- Facilitate crisis intervention and help develop prevention strategies for student safety and mental health
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
