Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid state certification or license (or eligibility) for School Psychologist in Delaware
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
  • Experience working within elementary, middle, or high school settings
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, parents, and community resources
  • Commitment to advocating for student needs and individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational assessments
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized intervention strategies
  • Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention for students
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and families on academic and behavioral strategies
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and help shape IEPs
  • Promote inclusive practices and positivity within the school community
  • Maintain accurate, confidential records and comply with all regulatory standards
