As a valued school psychologist in this role, you’ll play a crucial part in students’ growth and well-being, delivering vital assessment services while collaborating with staff and families to cultivate a nurturing school environment.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification (state requirements apply)
- Proven experience working with school-aged children and elementary populations
- Strong background in conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting data
- Ability to design and implement effective intervention strategies
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and consultative skills
- Knowledge of behavioral supports and IEP processes
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive evaluations and psychological assessments for students
- Collaborate with teachers, SPED staff, and families to support individualized success
- Develop, monitor, and adjust behavioral and academic interventions
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary meetings and IEP development
- Provide crisis intervention and consultation as needed
- Document services and maintain accurate student records
