This exciting, full-time contract role runs from August 4th through December, offering 37.5 hours per week across five days. Step into a pivotal position covering two consecutive maternity leaves—starting at a vibrant elementary campus serving approximately 500 students.

As a valued school psychologist in this role, you’ll play a crucial part in students’ growth and well-being, delivering vital assessment services while collaborating with staff and families to cultivate a nurturing school environment.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification (state requirements apply)
  • Proven experience working with school-aged children and elementary populations
  • Strong background in conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting data
  • Ability to design and implement effective intervention strategies
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and consultative skills
  • Knowledge of behavioral supports and IEP processes

Core Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive evaluations and psychological assessments for students
  • Collaborate with teachers, SPED staff, and families to support individualized success
  • Develop, monitor, and adjust behavioral and academic interventions
  • Participate actively in multidisciplinary meetings and IEP development
  • Provide crisis intervention and consultation as needed
  • Document services and maintain accurate student records
