Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Current and valid state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Experience providing psychological assessments, counseling, and interventions in a K-12 setting preferred
- Strong skills in consultation, behavioral intervention, and crisis response
- Familiarity with IEP processes, special education regulations, and individualized student planning
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations to identify students’ strengths and needs
- Interpret assessment results and make recommendations for educational planning
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and assist with the development of IEPs
- Provide individual and group counseling to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support student learning and mental health
- Deliver crisis intervention services and serve as a resource for behavioral emergencies
- Remain current with best practices and maintain thorough documentation
