Qualifications:
- Valid licensure/certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience or strong interest in working with K-6 students
- Familiarity with multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and conducting psychoeducational assessments
- Strong skills in consultation, counseling, and collaborating with educators and families
- Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to supporting students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for K-6 students
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) when needed
- Provide direct, targeted interventions and counseling for students
- Serve on problem-solving and crisis intervention teams within the school
- Support MTSS and Response to Intervention (RTI) practices by contributing data and expertise
- Consult regularly with staff to address academic, behavioral, and mental health concerns
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with federal, state, and local guidelines
