School Psychologist in South Bend, IN

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students’ educational journeys as a School Psychologist for an assignment starting as soon as possible through December 18th. Covering a maternity leave, this full-time position (37.5 hours per week, approximately 7:50 AM to 3:30 PM) is based near vibrant South Bend, IN. You'll work across both elementary and middle school settings, helping a manageable group of 15-20 students.

In this role, you will focus on evaluations, IEP development and participation in select MTSS meetings. Importantly, there are no counseling or behavioral intervention duties, allowing you to concentrate on your core expertise. Collaboration comes naturally here, with support from colleagues such as SLPs and Diagnostic Achievement Testers. On-site office space is available in each building, making your daily workflow seamless and efficient.

Qualifications:

• Hold active School Psychologist credentials in Indiana
• Previous experience in schools preferred, especially with evaluations and IEP processes
• Strong understanding of MTSS frameworks
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while thriving as part of a multidisciplinary team
