This full-time, contract opportunity is based in a single elementary building, providing the chance to work closely with other dedicated professionals throughout the entire school year.

Qualifications:

  • Valid licensure/certification as a School Psychologist
  • Experience or strong interest in working with K-6 students
  • Familiarity with multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and conducting psychoeducational assessments
  • Strong skills in consultation, counseling, and collaborating with educators and families
  • Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams
  • Commitment to supporting students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for K-6 students
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) when needed
  • Provide direct, targeted interventions and counseling for students
  • Serve on problem-solving and crisis intervention teams within the school
  • Support MTSS and Response to Intervention (RTI) practices by contributing data and expertise
  • Consult regularly with staff to address academic, behavioral, and mental health concerns
  • Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with federal, state, and local guidelines
