  • Ability to develop and implement effective interventions tailored to individual student needs
  • Solid grasp of special education processes and legal guidelines

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive psychological and educational assessments
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Supporting teachers and parents through consultation on behavior management, academic concerns, and emotional development
  • Providing counseling and crisis intervention services to students as needed
  • Monitoring student progress and adjusting interventions for optimal outcomes
  • Maintaining thorough, accurate documentation in compliance with school and district policies
