Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology, Psychology, or related field
- Experience with assessments, counseling, and student behavioral interventions in a school setting
- Strong ability to communicate with students, families, and staff from diverse backgrounds
- Solid understanding of IEPs, special education processes, and compliance requirements
- Proficient organizational and record-keeping skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to identify student strengths and support needs
- Develop and implement interventions to improve student academic and behavioral outcomes
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and collaborate with parents, teachers, and specialists
- Provide individual and group counseling services
- Support crisis intervention initiatives and offer guidance for social-emotional learning
