Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Completed graduate degree in School Psychology
- MA state licensure (or eligibility) as a School Psychologist
- Experience in conducting comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations
- Strong understanding of special education practices and IEP development
- Commitment to ethical practice and cultural competence
- Excellent communication, consultation, and problem-solving skills
- Relevant experience in K-12 settings preferred
- Interest in working with students with emotional and social needs, including Elis psych, welcomed
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual assessments to identify learning, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement student support plans
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling services for students
- Consult with educators, families, and outside agencies regarding student strategies and accommodations
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, eligibility determinations, and progress monitoring
- Develop and deliver workshops or professional development on pertinent topics for faculty and staff
