Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification and relevant state licensure
  • Proven experience in psychoeducational assessments, behavioral intervention planning, and data-driven decision making
  • Strong understanding of educational evaluation tools and psychology best practices
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with school teams and families
  • Ability to create, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Experience with ELIS psych preferred
  • Commitment to culturally responsive practices in supporting diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments, observations, and consultations to inform instructional decisions
  • Develop and recommend evidence-based interventions for academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to eligibility determinations
  • Consult with educators and parents regarding student progress, behavior, and learning needs
  • Support crisis intervention and provide counseling services as appropriate
  • Maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with local and federal regulations
  • Keep up-to-date with best practices and current trends in school psychology
