Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure for Washington State
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
- Previous experience in a K-12 educational environment preferred
- Strong skills in conducting psychoeducational evaluations, creating behavior intervention plans, and interpreting assessment data
- Knowledgeable in special education processes, eligibility determination, and IEP development
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities for effective teamwork and parent collaboration
- Ability to manage caseloads, prioritize tasks, and work independently within deadlines
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments for students
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, providing expertise on student needs
- Offer consultation to teachers and parents to promote strategies for student learning and behavior
- Provide short-term counseling or crisis intervention when needed
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation in accordance with school and state policies
- Support initiatives that cultivate positive, inclusive learning environments
