Key Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification (state and national credentials)
  • Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools, report writing, and IEP processes

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other support staff
  • Comfortable working part-time, approximately 24 hours per week (.6 FTE)

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations
  • Interpret test results and communicate findings to students, families, and staff
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs and support plans
  • Provide direct counseling services and crisis intervention as needed
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to identify student needs and recommend strategies
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly
  • Uphold confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines at all times
