Qualifications:

  • Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in Washington State
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a closely related field
  • Demonstrated experience performing assessments and developing individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Strong understanding of Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI)
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaborative skills
  • Ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds and needs
  • Previous experience within school settings preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological and psychoeducational evaluations of students referred for testing
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement appropriate strategies and interventions
  • Interpret results of assessments and contribute to eligibility determinations for special education services
  • Facilitate and participate in IEP meetings, providing professional recommendations
  • Provide direct and indirect counseling services to students to support their emotional and academic growth
  • Assist in crisis prevention and intervention as needed
  • Support positive student behavior and foster a safe, inclusive learning environment
