Bring your expertise in school psychology to support students across K–12 settings in the Mobile, AL area! This contract opportunity involves on-site services in a dynamic school community, with assignments to be determined as the academic year approaches. Your skills will be pivotal in enhancing student well-being and academic progress during the 2026–2027 school year.

Key Qualifications:

  • Hold an active school psychology license in Alabama.
  • Experience working as a School Psychologist within school settings, across a range of age groups (K–12).
  • Strong assessment and testing skills, with a keen ability to interpret data and craft recommendations.
  • Flexibility to work across multiple sites as an itinerant provider, depending on testing demands.
  • Team-oriented professional who thrives in collaborative educational environments.
  • Ability to provide documentation and images of licensure.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for assessment.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to design and implement interventions.
  • Participate in meetings, provide consultation, and assist with the development of IEPs.
  • Deliver services aligned with best practices in school psychology and the district’s guidelines.
  • Travel to assigned campuses within the district to meet students’ needs.

The school year contract runs from October 1, 2026, through May 26, 2027, with the potential for extension into ESY or the following school year based on performance.

Initial interviews will be conducted on 8/26/2026 (with a brief pause from 8/31–9/4, then resuming afterward). This is an on-site role—remote work is not available.
