Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a School Psychometrist, supporting K–12 students with critical assessment and testing services throughout the Mobile, AL area. This assignment starts October 1, 2026, and continues through May 26, 2027, with the potential to extend based on performance and district needs. Your expertise will help shape student success by collaborating with school teams to provide essential educational evaluations.

You’ll enjoy a full-time, 40-hour work week with the opportunity to work onsite at multiple school locations, addressing the district’s ever-evolving needs. This role may include travel between campuses as an itinerant psychometrist, adapting to testing demands and offering vital support where it’s needed most.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree and professional license in School Psychometry (license documentation required for consideration)
  • Experience conducting educational assessments for K–12 students
  • Strong knowledge of standardized testing protocols and best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with staff and families
  • Adaptability and organizational skills to manage caseloads in multiple settings

Responsibilities Include:

  • Performing psychoeducational assessments for students across various grade levels
  • Interpreting testing results and preparing comprehensive reports
  • Consulting with educators and support staff to recommend appropriate interventions
  • Participating in eligibility and IEP meetings as needed
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to confidentiality requirements

Additional Details:

  • Interviewing onsite-only candidates beginning August 26, 2026 (no interviews August 31 – September 4)
  • Full-time onsite work; virtual/remote is not available for this role
