Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Certification and licensure as a School Psychologist
• Previous work with elementary-aged students (1st–5th grade) preferred
• Familiarity with diverse learning needs, including students with special education or 504 plans (SPED 26/27 experience desirable)
• Strong assessment, intervention, and counseling skills in an educational setting
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administration, families, and other professionals
• Skilled at data collection, interpretation, and the creation of actionable strategies
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct student evaluations and assessments to identify learning, behavioral, and emotional needs
• Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and support plans
• Provide direct counseling services and crisis intervention as needed
• Offer consultation and training for educational staff to address student needs within 1st through 5th grade classrooms
• Participate in eligibility, annual review, and multidisciplinary team meetings
