Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid school psychologist licensure in Washington, or eligibility to obtain one
- Master’s or specialist degree in school psychology or related field
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools and intervention strategies
- Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations and developing IEPs preferred
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess academic, behavioral, and emotional development
- Develop intervention strategies and help implement IEPs to support student success
- Offer direct support and counseling for students individually or in group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create proactive solutions
- Provide crisis intervention and consultation when needed
- Maintain thorough records and documentation to comply with district and state requirements
