Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations for students
• Complete thorough assessments to determine special education eligibility
• Interpret testing results, prepare clear, compliant written reports
• Actively participate in eligibility, IEP, and parent meetings, offering expertise in assessments and student needs
• Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and administrators to support student success
• Contribute to behavior intervention planning and a range of support services for students
• Ensure timely and compliant documentation of all evaluations, interventions, and communications

Requirements:

• Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology
• Hold an active and valid Virginia School Psychologist license/credential
• Previous school-based experience is preferred, particularly with evaluations, IEPs, and eligibility meetings
• Demonstrated ability to prepare comprehensive evaluation reports
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with a commitment to supporting diverse student populations
